KRB Development has been building across the Phoenix metro since 2005. We're a licensed Arizona general contractor working in both commercial and residential construction — tenant improvements, ground-up work, renovations, and remodels — from Glendale and Peoria out through Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Fountain Hills, Tempe, Mesa, Surprise, and Avondale.
Rex Bailey is the general contractor. He walks the job, prices the work, and runs the crews — the same as he has for twenty years. In Maricopa County, the plan review queue is often the longest part of a project — and it's the part most contractors treat as out of their control.
We work regularly within the county's Permit by Inspector (PBI) program, which lets qualifying projects skip standard plan review and go straight to inspection.

Dental and medical offices
Clinical environments carry requirements most contractors meet only on paper: plumbing and electrical rough-in for chairs and equipment, lead-lined imaging rooms, ADA compliance, and infection-control finishes. We build to the standard and still deliver a space that feels calm to a patient.

Commercial kitchens, hood and grease systems, health department sign-off, and a dining room that has to look finished on opening night. We've built first locations and second locations for the same owners.

The family behind the work
KRB Development has been family owned and operated since 2005. Rex Bailey is the general contractor, and after two decades he still runs the jobs himself — walking the site, pricing the work, and standing on it when it's finished.
Around him is a crew that has been doing this a long time, most of them with us for years. That matters more than it sounds like it should. Construction runs on people who show up, who catch the problem before it becomes a change order, and who care what the finished work looks like because their name is attached to it too.
